Touch Cricket uses multitouch to give you unprecedented control over the shots the batsman plays. More than any previous cricket game this feels like the real thing. Play a back foot slog for six, a forward defensive push for a single, or even choose to leave a high bouncer. Play with flair or choose to build a slow patient innings... like never before the ability to play like the cricketing gods is in the power of your fingers.
A quick status update on Version 1.2. Twitter20 has been removed in favour of integration with push notifications for a future update. 1.2 will instead focus on bringing an Ashes Test mode. It is nearing completion and should be submitted to the App Store for approval this coming weekend (assuming we can tear ourselves away from watching the Second Test for long enough!).
To celebrate the start of the ICC Twenty20 World Cup starting tomorrow, Version 1.1 of Touch Cricket has been submitted to the App Store. New to this version is a Match Mode that allows you to play a Twenty20 or 50 Over One Day International match. To prove good news comes in threes... as well as the World Cup and a new version of the game... Touch Cricket has now entered the UK Top 100 Paid Games List (currently sitting at number 95).
